Stella F. (Woitkowiak) Knurowski

Stella F. (Woitkowiak) Knurowski, 81, of Bradenville, died on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Independence Health System - Latrobe Hospital. She was born July 30, 1943 in Latrobe, PA, the daughter of late John and Anna (Bialas) Woitkowiak. Prior to retirement Stella worked for Blue Ridge Mushroom Farm and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Latrobe. Besides her parents Stella is preceded in death by her husband Leo J. Knurowski in 2015; son John J. Knurowski; one sister Antoinette Woitkowiak; and one brother Amos Stephen Pezzoni. Stella is survived by her two sons Leo M. Knurowski and girlfriend Marie Bieda and Arthur J. Knurowski; two brothers John and Thomas Woitkowiak; three sisters Jenny Hoke, Mary Mehalic, and Frances Mickey and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends for Stella’s Life Celebration 4-7PM Tuesday October 22, 2024 at the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home 11AM Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in the funeral home with the Rev. E. George Saletrik as officiant.
