Scott Joseph Geary

Scott J. Geary, 52, of Latrobe formally a lifelong resided of Millwood, died on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in a tragic automobile accident in Derry Twp.. He was born December 16, 1964 in Latrobe a son of Faye A. (Hardesty) Geary and the Late Hugh J. Geary Jr.. Scott graduated from Derry Area High School in 1983. He was a commercial truck driver for numerous trucking companies. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycles. Besides his mother, Scott is survived by his son Samuel Geary of Latrobe; one daughter Rachel Geary of Irwin; one sister Susan Barrett and husband Marty of West Grove PA and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends for Scott’s LIFE CELEBRATION 2-4 and 6-8PM Monday January 30, 2017 at the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331.
