Rhonda M. Vasil, 51, of Derry, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was born September 12, 1965 in Latrobe, a daughter of Michael J. Vasil of Derry and the late Joann Vasil. Rhonda worked for the Bureau of Disability Determination office in Greensburg as a Clerk. She was a member of the Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Derry. Rhonda enjoyed crocheting and photography. Besides her father Rhonda is survived by her three daughters MacKenzie, Skylar, and Delanie Vasil of Derry, one sister Sheila A. Vasil of Latrobe and also many friends. A Memorial Mass will be held 11AM Saturday March 18, 2017 at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen C. West as Celebrant. The family has entrusted the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331 with the funeral arrangements.
