Patricia Ann Storer

Patricia Ann Storer, 76, of Derry, died on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born March 15, 1940 in Latrobe a daughter of the late Allen and Theresa (Krisinsky) Storer. Prior to retirement Patricia was a LPN having worked for Torrance State Hospital. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Youngstown. Patricia was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and she was a Scout for the Appalachian Wagon Train. She loved traveling. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her son Randall Thomas Komperda. Patricia is survived by her son, Edward Komperda and wife Karen of Blairsville; one sister Evelyn Youdech of Latrobe; three grandchildren, Edward, Cody, and Randall; three great grandchildren, Mason, Lilah, and Alexis and several nieces, nephews, and friends. The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary unity 515 of Latrobe will conduct a service in the funeral home 2 PM Monday. Family will receive friends for Patricia’s Life Celebration 2-4 PM Monday July 11, 2016 in the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331. Funeral service will be follow at 4 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen C. West officiating. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be made to the www.merlinfuneralhome.com.
