Nancy Jean Keir, 87, of Bradenville, died on April 30, 2024 at Latrobe Hospital surrounded by her family. She made a short trip from Latrobe Hospital to her eternal home in Heaven where her family will be waiting to welcome her home.
She was born on February 3, 1937, at home, a daughter of Norman and Anabelle (Foster) Moore.
Nancy was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Norman.
Nancy was a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a sought-after secretary for Alcoa products of Latrobe, PA and Arthur Anderson of Geneva, Illinois. Nancy and Ted loved to travel with their family. They especially enjoyed a Luau in Hawaii and a trip to Alaska to see the Northern Lights and Arctic Circle.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Theodore (Ted) Keir of Bradenville; 2 children, Nanette Keir and partner Kurt Hormann of Villa Park, IL, Douglas Keir and wife Betsy of Sleepy Hollow, IL, and two grandchildren Drake Keir and Holly Keir. Surviving siblings are Barry K. Moore, (Ilene, deceased); Norma Albaugh (William); Erma Lucas Hauser (James, deceased) Sherrie McDonald (Joseph Dewey) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
