Mildred M. (Libengood) Ehman

Mildred M. (Libengood) Ehman, 108, of Blairsville, died in the comfort of her home on Sunday, July 28, 2024. She was born January 23, 1916, in Strangford, PA, to the late Lester Hill Libengood and Sadie Ellen (Critchfield) Libengood. She was a seamstress and a homemaker who was well known for her amazing cooking, especially her pies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvan E. Ehman on December 13, 1966 and five siblings; Freda, Viola, Gerald, Donald and Wilbur. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Nancy M. Ross (Keith) of Blairsville; four sisters, Bea Rinaldi, Goldie Haraseviat, Helen Libengood and Betty Libengood; and many nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, visitation and funeral services were private. Burial was in Coles Cemetery, Derry. Mildred’s family wishes to express their deep appreciation to everyone from Excela Home Health Care and Hospice for the loving care they provided especially Ashley and Heather. Kelly, Deb, Sally, Valerie, Kayla, Karen, Linda, Sharon, Marilyn, Mabel, Kaitlyn, Carissa, Connie, and Jenny all gave “Miss Millie” more than just care over the last several years.
