Linda P. Willnecker

Linda P. Willnecker, 65, of Altoona, died on Friday, November 12, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born May 14, 1956 in Altoona, the daughter late Raymond H. and Helen G. (Troutman) Willnecker. Linda was a 1974 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and a 1977 graduate of the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Linda was a Nurse at Altoona Hospital, where she worked in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and the Surgical Center. Linda was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her sister, Susan H. McFee, nephew, Brian (Molly) McFee, niece, Kristen Hamilton, and the following great-nieces and nephews; Taylor (Joshua) Fullen, Isabella McFee, Courtney Hamilton, Christian Hamilton, Xavier Hamilton, Kilian Hamilton, Maksym Hamilton, Lucas McFee, Dominic McFee, Sam McFee, Nathan McFee and great-great niece, Aubrey Fullen. A funeral Mass will held 10AM December 11, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Altoona. The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA (724)694-8331. Inurnment will be at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Altoona.
