Judith Diane Miller

Judith Diane Miller , 69, of Derry, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 27, 1948 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Clifford W. “Posey” and Anna Mae (Baum) Miller. Prior to retirement Judy worked at Blairsville Westinghouse for 40plus years. She enjoyed water aerobics, swimming, gardening, family time, playing cards, puzzles, western music and movies, and most of all she loved spending time with the kids and her very beloved nieces and nephews. Judy was an amazing cook and a joy to be around. Her one true love in life was Elvis Presley Besides her parents Judy is preceded in death by her two brothers William L. and Robert W. Miller. Judy is survived by her son Kurtis J. Miller of Derry; two brothers Clyde C. Miller of Latrobe and Orrin B. Miller of Corpus Christi. TX; four sisters Dorris G. Islami of Woodhaven, MI, Janet L. McCracken of Greensburg, Ruth E. Miller of Latrobe, and Karen E. Jackson-Snyder and husband Bill D. Snyder of Traverse City, MI; two grandchildren Jacob and Kira Riggle and also many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends 5-8 PM Sunday, April 2, 2017 in the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331 A Funeral Service will be held 10AM Monday April, 3, 2017 in the Funeral Home with the Pastor David Lam officiating.
