Jon H. Blake. 84, of Latrobe, died peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026, at St. Anne Home, Greensburg, surrounded by his family.
Jon was born on February 3, 1941 in Braddock, PA, a son of the late John H. and Rhoda B. (McMunn) Blake.
Prior to retirement Jon worked at Teledyne Vasco where he often worked 6 and 7 days a week. He was a very generous, strong, and mechanical skill person. Jon was a US Army National Guard Veteran. He was a good father, having taught his three sons hunting, camping, boating, water skiing, yard care, car maintenance, and repair. Jon enjoyed photography, computers, and boating.
Besides his parents Jon is preceded in death by one sister Joy E. Falbo.
Jon is survived by his loving wife Judy M. (Fisher) Blake of Latrobe; three sons Stephen Jon Blake and wife Lauren, Dean Allen Blake and wife Wendy, and Dana Scot Blake; three grandchildren Alex, Loren, and Aiden Blake; his faithful companion Jack; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation, funeral, and final committal were private for the family.
The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements with the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331.
A private interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Derry.
