Jennell Marie (Penich) Benford

Jennell Marie (Penich) Benford, 46, of Millwood, PA, died Wednesday, August 14 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 14, 1978, in Derry, a daughter of Brian L. and Patricia M. (Sherback) Penich. Jennell had worked at Quikrete in Human Resources and 2nd Half Coach Wealth Management. She was a member of support group faithandgratitude.org with Lorie Ball. Jennell enjoyed kickboxing, aerobics, and exercising. She was preceded in death by her infant son Jeremiah James and her sister Jamie Penich. Besides her parents Jennell is survived by her husband of 21 years, Rob Benford; one sister Amanda Gongloff and husband Chris; mother-in-law Kathey Scheuer; one brother-in-law Richard Benford and wife Lisa; seven nieces and nephews Jarrett, Jackson, Grant, Tyler, Robbie, Dominique, and Rylee; three great nieces Madi, Gigi, and Malia; dog Charlie; and many cousins and friends. Family will receive friends for Jennell’s Life Celebration 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St., Derry, PA 15627, 724-694-8331. Additional viewing will be Monday morning 9:30AM to the time of service at 11AM. A Blessing Service will be held 11AM Monday, August 19, 2024 in the funeral home with Rev. Salvatore R. Lamendola as officiant.
