Geraldine Gail (Wilburn) Barchesky

Geraldine “Gail” (Wilburn) Barchesky, 94 of Derry Twp., died on Monday October 21, 2024 at her home. She was born July 27, 1930 in Derry, the daughter of the late Frank A. and Florice (Baughman) Wilburn. Prior to retirement Gail worked at Skatell’s Supermarket and was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Derry. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family. Gail was preceded in death by her husband Burton A. Barchesky in 2017; one son, Burton Barchesky; one daughter Kathleen Ann Barchesky; six brothers Fred, Dewey, Glenn Bo, Jack, Clifford, Roy Wilburn; and five sisters Virginia McDonald, Ethel, Grobel, Marian Wilburn, Grace Optak, and Ruth Wugaman. Gail is survived by one daughter Patti Thomas and husband Bruce of New Derry; one daughter-in-law Jackie Barchesky of Woodbridge, VA; one grandson, Burton James “BJ” Barchesky, one sister Joann Regula of Loyalhanna; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
