Edward M. Reffo

Edward M. Reffo, 58, of Derry Twp., died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born June 12, 1958, in Latrobe, a son of Mary Louise (Short) Reffo and the late Eugene P. Reffo Sr. Prior to retirement Edward was a heavy equipment operator in the coal industry. He was a member of the New Alexandria Fireman’s Club. Edward enjoyed motorcycles and collecting guns. Beside his mother Edward is survived by three brothers Eugene P. Reffo Jr. and wife Roberta of Derry Twp., James A. Reffo and wife Donna of Unity Twp., and Peter J. Reffo and wife Joyce of Hillside; one sister Mary F. Morley and husband Philip of TN and also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends for Edward’s Life Celebration, on Wednesday June 7, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331.
