Connie D. (Williams) Shrum, 67, A lifelong resident of Derry, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born January 21, 1950 in Derry, a daughter of the late George R. and Etta V. (Cromling) Williams. Connie was a homemaker. She enjoyed working the Bingos at the Derry Ukrainian Club crafts and drawing. Besides her parents Connie is preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Shrum in 2007 and two brothers Rod Himmler and Wilbert Williams. Connie is survived by her two sisters Margaret L. Thornton and husband Glenn of Silver Spring, MD and Vivian J. Knudsen and husband Floyd of Little Elm; sister-in-law Mary Kozemchak of Derry; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 4 great nieces; 2 great nephews; closest friend Vickie Harbaugh of Derry and also many other friends. Family will receive friends for Connie’s Life Celebration 10AM-12 PM March 27, 2017 in the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N.
