Connie Mae (Logan) Kozamchak

Connie Mae (Logan) Kozamchak, 74, of Derry Twp., died September 28, 2025 at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital. She was born January 15, 1951, in Mount Pleasant, PA, a daughter of the late James and Nellie (Dayton) Logan. Prior to retirement Connie worked at Wal-Mart in the bakery, electronics, stocking, and as a cashier. She was a member of the A.B.V.M Ukrainian Catholic Church, Latrobe. Connie enjoyed doing crafts and baking. Besides her parents Connie is preceded in death by brother Robert Logan. Connie is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Joseph J. Kozamchak of Derry Twp.; two sons Terry Seaman and wife Diane of Latrobe and Michael Seaman and wife Dawn of Export; two step sons Joseph Kozamchak and wife Kris of TX and David Kozamchak and wife Laura of MN; one brother James Logan and wife Anna of West Elizabeth, PA; one sister Ardis Shay of Youngwood, PA; five grandchildren Matty and husband Chris, Alexis and husband Josh, Zachary, Karissa, and Nathan; three step grandchildren Samuel, Kimberly and husband Nick, and Emily ; five great grandchildren Natalia, Sadie, Bryce, Maureen, and Jack; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends for Connie’s Life Celebration 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry 724-694-8331. A funeral Service will be held in the funeral home, Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 7:15AM with Father Oleg Popyuk as officiant. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
