Brenda S. (Bridge) Dixon

Brenda S. ( Bridge) Dixon, 75, of Ligonier, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. She was born July 16, 1949 in Derry a daughter of the late John and Clara “Ceil” (Hughes) Bridge. Brenda was a Registered Nurse having worked for Saint Vincent College. She loved her dog Abby. Besides her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by one sister Joyce Palmer and one brother Dennis Bridge. Brenda is survived by her husband Thomas M. Dixon III of Ligonier; three sons Karl Morrison and wife Tina of Youngstown, PA, John Brian Morrison and wife Marie of Marguerite, and Josh Morrison and wife Nia of Latrobe; one brother Jack Bridge and wife Kathleen of Derry; two sisters Darlene Bridge of Latrobe and Vicki Novello of Derry; four grandchildren Ryan, Amber, Jonna, and Dakota, two great grandchildren Levi and Ezra; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Services for Brenda are private. The family has entrusted the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331 with the funeral arrangements.
