Betty Irene (Harris) Meyer Poponick, 94, of Delmont, died on June 5, 2024 at Ark Manor Personal Care Home, Delmont. She was born on November 16, 1929, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Mae (McDonald) Harris. Betty was preceded in death by her first husband John Meyer; second husband Stephen Poponick; one son John B. Meyer, Sr.; two sisters Nancy Smith Simms and Ellen Stephenson; and three brothers William, Larry and John Harris. Betty is survived by three grandchildren John B. Jr., Courtney L., and Kaitlyn N. Meyer and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331.
