Bert S. Gray

Bert S. Gray, 58, of Derry Twp., died on Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home. He was born January 14, 1958 in Latrobe a son of the late Anthony and Dorene (Shetler) Gray. Prior to retirement Bert worked at Torrance State Hospital as a boiler technician. Bert served in the US Army. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Besides his parents, Bert is preceded in death by one sister Toni Bernoski and one brother Duane “Dewey” Gray. Bert is survived by 5 siblings, Elaine McCracken and husband Robert, Janice Short and husband Jerry, Lisa Souders and husband Jeffrey, Dana Campeau and husband Edward, and Leslie Waggle and husband James all of Derry; one sister in law Carol Gray of Derry and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends for Bert’s Life Celebration 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday November 23, 2016 in the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331. The Latrobe Derry Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the funeral home 9:30AM Friday November 25, 2016. A funeral will be held 10:00 AM Friday November 25, 2016 in the funeral home with Rev.
