Anthony Joseph Paesano

Anthony Joseph “Tony” Paesano, 37, of Avonmore, passed away quietly Saturday, April 9, 2016, at his home. He was born October 2, 1978, in Latrobe, a son of Carl and BethAnn (Litzinger) Paesano of Avonmore. Tony was a Safety Engineer for Corle Industries in Altoona, PA. After attending Kiski High School and graduating from Slippery Rock College as a safety engineer, Tony travelled extensively as a safety auditor for several companies. From early on Tony enjoyed his mountain biking, Pittsburgh Penguins, and various other sports. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Albert and Hazel Paesano of Export and his maternal grandfather Blair Litzinger of Derry. Besides his parents Tony is survived by his sister Gina Lester and husband Bill, niece Sydney and nephew Ian of Latrobe; one brother Joseph Paesano and wife Mackenzie and niece Sonia of Lower Burrell; maternal grandmother Jane Litzinger of Avonmore ; and also several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Stricken so early in his youth he will be fondly remembered and truly missed by his family and friends. The family is thankful for the compassion shown by his many friends, neighbors, and to UPMC Montefiore Hospital, and Excela Hospice for the exceptional care and kindness Anthony received.
