Anna Marie (Posavetz) White

Anna M. (Posavetz) White, 74, of Derry Twp., died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Loyalhanna Care Center. She was born March 11, 1942, in Yatesboro, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Anna (Bobick) Posavetz. Anna was a Registered Nurse having worked for Latrobe Area Hospital. She was a member of St. Martin Roman Catholic Church, New Derry. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her son Joseph M. White and one brother Joseph E. Posavetz. Anna is survived by her loving husband Carl E. White Sr. of Derry Twp., four sons, Carl E. White Jr. of Derry Twp., Samuel R. White and Diana Fabian of Loyalhanna, James M. White and wife Denise of Derry Twp., and Timothy J. White and wife Michelle of Latrobe; two sisters, Joyce Posavetz of Indiana, PA and Jean Colish and husband Joseph of Silver Springs, MD; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and also several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends for Anna’s Life Celebration 10-11AM Monday May 23 at the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331.
