Agnes Palmer Obituary

Agnes Elaine (Wilson) Palmer, 82, of Latrobe, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 15, 1942, in Greensburg, PA, a daughter of the late Howard D. Jr. and Agnes T. (Anzur) Wilson. Prior to retirement was a Registered Nurse at Latrobe Hospital. Agnes enjoyed her family and friends. Besides her parents, Agnes is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Palmer in 2003 two brothers Kevin L. Wilson and an infant brother. Agnes is survived by one son Robert L. Palmer, Jr. of Latrobe; six daughters Teresa B. Augustine and husband Keith of Butler, Robin L. Palmer of Mount Pleasant, Lori A. Jack of Greensburg, Julie M. Palmer and Doug Olson of Jeannette, Christy L. Palmer of Greensburg, and Jessica E. Palmer Hill of Shelby, NC; one brother Dennis R. Wilson and wife Leanna of South Dakota; three sisters Beverly L. Fawcett and husband James of Irwin, Joyce A. Kunkle of Irwin, and Carol Hrtyanski and husband Todd of Greensburg; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; special friends Stacy Campbell and Connie McDevitt and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements with the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry 724-694-8331. A Mausoleum Service will be held 11AM Tuesday June 3, 2025 at the Westmoreland County Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Christopher Livermore officiating. The family would like to give a special thanks to Connie, Kaylee, and Ally for keeping her comfortable and where she wanted to be and to the staff of the Independence Hospice for the loving care given to Agnes.
