Sandra L. Bell

Sandra L. Bell, 69, of Derry, died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born March 11, 1949, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Emma L. (Waldron) Bell. Prior to retirement Sandra was a manager at Choice. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Derry. Sandra enjoyed baking, ceramics, crafting, crocheting, and sewing. Sandra is survived by her son Ronald E. Bell Sr. of Latrobe; three daughters Sherry L. Bialas and husband Paul of Bradenville, Lory J. Ashbaugh of Millwood, and Samantha J. Reffo of Latrobe; two brothers David W. Bell Jr. of Loyalhanna and John A. Bell and wife Althea of Greensburg; two sisters Barbara A. Gettemy of Bradenville and Brenda L. Dowden of Latrobe; 10 grandchildren Charles and Casondra Hull, Courtney Denne, Paul Bialas Jr., Kirsten Flack, Armenda Bialas, David Bell, Brandon Flack, Ronald Bell II, and Michael Bell; 2 great grandchildren Skyleigh Gill and Olivia Denne and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends for Sandra’s Life Celebration 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday May 30, 2018 in the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry 724-694-8331. A Funeral Service will be held for Sandra 10:00 AM Thursday May 31, 2018 in the funeral home with Pastor William Schaefer officiating. Interment will be private.
