Louise E. (Hughes) Kinnan

Louise E. (Hughes) Kinnan, 88, of Dogwood Acres, died June 1, 2019 at Westmoreland Manor. She was born September 2, 1930, in Livermore, a daughter of the late George and Estelle (Quick) Hughes. Prior to retirement Louise worked at Torrance State Hospital. She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Derry. Louise loved Bingo. Beside her parents Louise is preceded in death by her husband Leo J. Kinnan in 1967; three sons Larry, Kenneth, and David Kinnan; three brothers Ralph, James, and Thomas Hughes; and two sisters Doris Robb and Mary King. Louise is survived by her two sisters, Florence Keim and Viola Cottom; two brothers Robert Hughes and wife Joanne of and Larry Hughes and wife Maria; two sisters-in-laws Carole Hughes and Sharron Hughes and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends for Louise’s Life Celebration 10-11 AM Thursday June 6, 2019 at the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry 724-694-8331. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home, at 11:00AM with Rev. Salvatore R. Lamendola as officiant. Interment will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery, New Derry.
