Richard Conrad Obituary

Richard B. Conrad, 80, of Greensburg, formerly of Blairsville, died Sunday April 19, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe. He was born August 24, 1939 in Blairsville, the son of the late Russell and Cecilia (Murray) Conrad. Prior to retirement Richard worked at ICI/Westinghouse in Derry and then he was the store manager for Wisneski Vacuum Cleaner Repair, Blairsville. Richard was avid hunter-outdoorsman and volunteered as campground host at Keystone State Park. In addition to his parents Richard was preceded in death by three brothers Ron, Jim and Russell Conrad. Richard is survived by two sons Rick and David Conrad; two daughters Elizabeth Hensley and Marjorie Yaksich; one sister Jean Short; six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be private for the family. The family has entrusted the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331 to handle the funeral arrangements.
