Charles (Jake) Letosky, 89, of Bradenville, PA, died, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 4, 1934, in Central City, PA, the son of late Michael and Mary (Salonish) Letosky.
Prior to retirement Charles was a construction worker for the Laborers Union Local 1451. He was a US Army Veteran. Charles was a member of the St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, American Greek Club, and the American Slovak Society. He also enjoyed fishing and watching the Steelers play football.
Besides his parent Charles was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Mae (Fink) Letosky in 2020 and his daughter Carol Letosky and many brothers and sisters.
Charles is survived by one son Charles M. Letosky of Bradenville; three daughters Georgia A. Letosky and companion Don Bitner of Bradenville, Anita J. Harter and husband Mark of Blairsville, and Renee L. Letosky-Smith and husband Charles of Tarpon Springs, FL; one broter Tom Letosky of Spokane, NY; six grandchildren, Jared Letosky, Jessie Letosky, Kady Letosky, Grace Harter, Lydia Harter, and Avery Smith; two great grandchildren Colin and Shane O’Brien; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family has entrusted the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry 724-694-8331 with the funeral arrangements.
Services for Charles will be private for his family.
