Robert J. Schrecengost Jr.

Robert J. Schrecengost Jr., 59, loving husband, father, son, and brother of Derry Twp., died on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his home. He was born April 17, 1959 in Sewickley, PA, the son of Cathy (Friend) Schrecengost of Derry, Twp. and the late Robert J. Schrecengost Jr.. Prior to retirement Robert had worked as a self-employed Chiropractor and Electrical Engineer for Westinghouse in Tri-Cities, WA. He was a graduate of Kiski High School. Robert was in the Electrical Engineers Local 101 Union. He loved history and playing basketball with his son. Besides his father Robert is preceded in death by his uncle Chuck Schrecengost. Robert is survived by his wife Joanie D. (Holtz) Schrecengost; two sons Robert K. Schrecengost of Derry and Dusty Rice of Tri-Cities, WA; one step-daughter Destiny Hope; one brother Joey Schrecengost of Derry Twp.; one sister Kimber Schrecengost of Derry Twp.; cousin Mickey Bargerstock and wife Cindy, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family has entrusted the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home Inc. 529 N. Chestnut St. Derry, PA 724-694-8331 with the funeral arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
