Michael Schall Obituary

Michael J. Schall, 73, of Derry, died peacefully, Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Hempfield Manor surrounded by his family. He was born September 29, 1945, in Latrobe, a son of the late Louis and Ethel (Campbell) Schall. Prior to retirement Michael was a truck driver. He was a proud veteran of the US Marines having served during the Vietnam War. Michael enjoyed camping, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Beside his parents Michael is preceded in death by his brother Louis “Tink” Schall. Michael is survived by Carole V. (Sauers) Schall; two brothers Charles Schall and wife Judy of Latrobe and Donald Schall of Latrobe; one sister Effie Goodwin and husband Bruce of Albany, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
