John M. Stercho

John M. Stercho, 59, of New Alexandria, died on Friday, November 16, 2018, at his home. He was born January, 20, 1959 in Latrobe, the son of Helen Ann (Waggle) Stercho of Hillside and the late John C. Stercho. John worked at Elizabeth Carbide Components in Latrobe. He was a member of the St Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Derry and the American-Greek Club in Bradenville. John loved hunting, boating, fixing tractors and especially his grandchildren. John is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Sheryl L (Baker) Stercho of New Alexandria; two daughters Sheena Sledge and husband Tyler of Derry and Stephanie Kelley and husband Shawn of Noblesville, IN; two brothers Douglas J. Stercho and wife Elizabeth of Greensburg, and Scott A. Stercho and wife Christen of Greensburg; 2 grandchildren Logan J. and Sophia M. Sledge; faithful companion Leo, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends for John’s Life Celebration 2-4 and 6-8PM Sunday November 18, 2018 at the Matthew X.
